For our Muslim students, Quran recitation are encouraged and improved through a dedicated weekly session. With an emphasis on correct tajweed and pronunciation, children are challenged to improve their recitation and memorization which aims to nurture their Spiritual, Moral and Ethical development.

Our Kindergarten provides a wide range of opportunities and experiences to encourage our youngest children to develop their natural curiosity and thinking skills. In this way they will develop the foundations upon which they will continue to build throughout their school career and beyond.
In Elementary – from grades 1-5- children study the full range of subjects with an emphasis on innovation, STEM, practical application and active learning. They are encouraged to discuss their learning and think critically. We have Art, Science, DT and ICT rooms, and children from Grade 2 have a weekly lesson in these. All subjects are taught thematically and with an emphasis on cross curricular links. We embrace technology integration across the school in all subjects. Students in Kg1 to Grade 4 have access to iPads in their classroom to support their learning. From Grade 5-7 students are assigned Chromebooks that have access to multiple digital learning platforms to enhance their learning.
We use Class Dojo as our central behavior management system. Dojo points are issued as rewards, for performance elements linked to our school values. Class Dojo is also used as a means of communicating with our parents. Newsletters and messages are posted directly to communicate homework, projects, special events and individual class needs.
We fully support national agendas set by ADEK, and have fully integrated the ‘My Identity ‘ and Moral Education agendas into our school life.
Our aim is to develop well balanced students with the content knowledge and 21st century skills for success in their post-school lives. Lessons are delivered by subject specialists who are led by school leaders with global experience. Our curriculum is aligned to the California Common Core Standards and include the core subjects of Math, Science, English, Social Studies, IT, Art, French and PE. High School students can take Electives such as D&T, Media, Art and French. Arabic, Islamic Studies and Arabic Civics follow MOE guidelines. Our curriculum explores opportunities to develop our students understanding of Emirati national identity, the Student Competence Framework and innovative skills and practice.
Individual learning is supported by meeting the needs of all students, providing comprehensive feedback for students to act on, and the delivery of best teaching practice.
A weekly PSHE session supports students personal development with topics covering Study Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Universities, Healthy & Safe Lifestyles, Careers, Innovation Leadership and the Environment.
The school has a specialized & highly committed team which supports students with numerous award winning projects in innovative and community based competitions and initiatives.
Through our popular House System, all students participate in our extensive extra-curricular programme, with clubs including: Public Speaking, Environment, Charity, National Identity, STEM,Math,Taekwondo, Cooking, Drama, Art, Model UN, Chess, and IT. House Captains take on leadership responsibilities and make decisions about how to develop the House system further.
